In Extremo

No estoy seguro de cómo al primer trobador se le ocurrió enchufar su laud a un pedal de distorsión y juntarse con unos gaiteros, pero está claro que hubo mucha cerveza de por medio. In Extremo nos traen un perfecto ejemplo de como se combinan guitarras, gaitas y percusiones a medio camino entre el heavy metal y las cantigas medievales. Hace un par de años los pude ver en vivo en Apolo y os puedo asegurar que tienen un directo buenísimo. Al ser una sala pequeña y haber poca gente, más que un concierto pareció un recital para los colegas, con un gran feedback con el público teniendo en cuenta que allí el 98% no hablaba alemán.
¿Lo mejor de todo? que el 28 de marzo los tendremos en la Sala Bikini de Barcelona. Así que nos veremos allí con aquellos que os animeis. Como regalito, os dejo este tema suyo, que es uno de mis favoritos.


I'm not quite sure of how the first bard thought about connecting a lute to a distorsion pedal and about joining with some bagpipers, but it surely involved a lot of beer. In Extremo bring us a perfect example of how to combine guitars, bagpipes and percussion, halfway between heavy metal and medieval chants. About a couple of years ago I had the chance of seeing them live in Apolo and I can tell you they have a great live. It was a small room and there was no much people, so it was much more a recital for the mates than a concert. They had a great feedback with the audience, taking into account that the 98% of the people there did not speak German.
